Smugsoftware fuzzmeasure 3.011/20/2022 ![]() ![]() It is a small space, I only have one corner option and though about putting one Sub there, (to the back left of the listening position), and keeping the other one on the front wall, but in my mind I was not sure how Dirac deals with that? How does Dirac know if I run 2 mono subs in random spots or should I not worry about it and Dirac will perform its magic? The red trace in fig.4 is the Coltrane 3's response in MF's listening room, generated by averaging 20 1/6-octavesmoothed spectra, individually taken for the left and right speakers using SMUGSoftware's FuzzMeasure 3.0 program and a 96kHz sample rate, in a vertical rectangular grid 36' wide by 18' high and centered on the positions of MF's ears. My subs are set up to the insides of the main on the front wall, the gear is in the middle. I also do not know what MSO is, I will google it. I will need to check out who Geddes is, I am not entirely new to measuring but am completely new to Dirac. ![]() Support for pinch zoom and two-finger panning (while holding. A quick keystroke (command-option-) now lets you reset graph extents quickly. Multiple copies of the same graph can be shown alongside one another with different settings. Ensure that the product key state matches the corresponding OA 3.0 tool command. Any of FuzzMeasures graphs (including the bar and waterfall graphs) can now be combined with any other. (The trace was generated by averaging 20 1/6-octavesmoothed spectra, taken for the left and right speakers individually using SMUGSoftware's FuzzMeasure 3.0 program and a 96kHz sample rate, in a vertical rectangular grid 36' wide by 18' high and centered on the positions of my ears. Error: 0xC00000D9 The OA 3.0 tool reported an invalid key state for a product key. #Smugsoftware fuzzmeasure 3.0 updateHey thanks for the reply, yea I think I just need to try that, run Full Range on the Mains and maybe Cross the Subs a bit higher before Dirac. Update your configuration file to use either the server-based or file-based source, and then run the OA 3.0 tool again. Please Log in or Create an account to join the conversation. (My plan is to run this again when I get home to test it out but I am also looking for advice before hand). Also curious why this is how it should be done? My goal was to allow my main speakers to play down to their max range which is 40hz before they begin to taper. #Smugsoftware fuzzmeasure 3.0 manualIs this because of my failure to run everything full range before running Dirac? Just looking to see if anyone can let me know if I am understanding the manual correctly and I should run everything full range, or if what I did works. I ran Dirac Live with the Subwoofers and Main Speakers crossed over as mentioned above, and everything sounds great, but I do have a couple nasty narrow dips, (I believe 50hz and 60hz), that I believe is not a room mode thing based on previous measurements never having this. The miniDSP manual says to remove any crossovers and run the Main Speakers and Subwoofers full range, and then crossover afterwards if needed. In miniDSP Plugin, I have the Main Speakers High Passed at 45hz and the Subs Low Passed at 45hz. ![]()
